President Murmu strengthens India-Angola ties during historic Angola visit

New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) President Droupadi Murmu’s landmark visit to Angola advanced significantly as she held delegation-level talks with Angolan President Joao Manuel Goncalves Lourenco, the President Secretariat announced today.
The leaders reinforced the strong partnership between India and Angola, built on mutual trust and a shared vision for prosperity.
Focusing on expanding bilateral cooperation, the discussions explored opportunities to diversify trade and investment in technology, agriculture, health, defence, and infrastructure. Both presidents agreed to deepen collaboration under the India-Africa Forum Summit framework, with President Murmu stressing the need for continued joint efforts.
