Priyanka Chopra confirms appearance on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’

New Delhi, Dec 10 (UNI) Priyanka Chopra has landed in Mumbai to begin shooting for SS Rajamouli’s upcoming Telugu action-adventure film, ‘Varanasi,’ which also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles. Following her return, the 'Mary Kom' actress hinted at her appearance on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4.’
During her flight to India, Priyanka shared an in-flight selfie on Instagram stories, tagging Kapil Sharma and the show, along with the caption: “You better be ready,” confirming her upcoming appearance. She also posted a video from a taxi, soaking in the Mumbai vibe, writing: “Mumbai meri jaan.”
At the recent Bridge Summit, Priyanka Chopra reflected on her career in films, saying she initially “accepted every opportunity” because she “didn’t have the privilege to say no.”
She explained that constant travel often made her miss key family milestones, as refusing work never felt like an option.
‘Varanasi’ is an ambitious Telugu-language action-adventure film, conceived by SS Rajamouli in 2010, with the screenplay co-written by V. Vijayendra Prasad. Reports suggest the film is being made on a Rs 1,300 crore budget.
The film’s music is composed by MM Keeravani, with Mohan Bingi handling production design, PS Vinod as cinematographer, Bikkina Thammiraju editing, and V. Srinivas Mohan overseeing visual effects. ‘Varanasi’ is slated for release in both normal and IMAX formats in 2027.
In the film, Mahesh Babu will play dual roles as Rudhra and Nandi, while Priyanka Chopra has been cast as Mandakini.
