Protests from Uttarakhand to Ladakh to PoK a cry for survival: Mehbooba

Srinagar, Oct 3 (UNI) Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti today said the youth protests from Uttarakhand to Ladakh and across the border in Kashmir, is “not rebellion” but a “cry for survival”.
Mehbooba said young people, who have worked hard, studied diligently, and followed the rules, are now confronting power after seeing the promises of their future slip away.
“They aren’t just protesting. They are confronting power with raw truth because the very system they were told to believe in has failed them catastrophically,” she said in a post on X.
