Protests in Bhopal over NEET exam cancellation

Bhopal, May 12 (UNI) A large number of NSUI activists, accompanied by students and their parents, burnt the effigy of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in Bhopal on Tuesday, following the announcement that the NEET-UG 2026 examination has been cancelled.
Students and parents expressed deep anguish and frustration over the cancellation of the exam, for which more than 1.20 lakh students from Madhya Pradesh had appeared after long preparation of about an year.
MP Women Congress President Reena Borasi Setia charged that more than 90 exams had been cancelled under the BJP government over the years. She demanded a fair investigation and stringent punishment to those responsible for the paper leak, due to which the exam has been cancelled.

Haryana Patwari caught taking bribe to clear crop compensation claims

Haryana Police bust cyber fraud racket, arrest three in Rs 2 53 crore scam

Panchkula, June 18 (UNI): Haryana Police has arrested three alleged members of a cyber fraud syndicate involved in a ₹2.53 crore online investment scam and recovered a large quantity of mobile phones, ATM cards, passbooks, chequebooks and other equipment suspected to have been used in carrying out fraudulent financial transactions.
