PULSUS Group to expand Telangana AI Healthcare Hub, Targets 6,000 Direct Jobs

Hyderabad, June 15 (UNI) PULSUS Group on Monday announced plans to expand its AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation Hub at Ameenpur in Telangana, targeting the creation of 6,000 direct and 30,000 indirect jobs as it scales up operations at its 35-acre campus.
The expansion follows a recent Supreme Court ruling upholding the project's IT/ITeS and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) status, paving the way for accelerated development and fresh investments in artificial intelligence, healthcare technology and digital services, the company said in a release.
The company said the verdict provides the regulatory certainty required to advance its long-term growth plans and strengthen its presence in emerging technology sectors.
Citing parliamentary records under the India BPO Promotion Scheme, PULSUS said Omics International, a part of the group, had generated 2,836 direct jobs by March 2022 and is targeting around 6,000 jobs in Visakhapatnam while supporting an estimated 30,000 indirect jobs.
The records also recognise the company's Ameenpur operations, where about 1,500 jobs have already been created as part of its larger employment target.
With the legal hurdles resolved, the company said it has fast-tracked plans to develop the ₹500-crore Ameenpur campus into a major AI healthcare and digital services hub.
"The Ameenpur project, located near Miyapur in Hyderabad, was envisioned as a hub for technology and employment generation. Despite delays caused by legal and regulatory challenges, we remained committed to this vision," said Dr. Gedela Srinubabu, Chief Executive Officer of PULSUS Group.
"With the project now gaining ITES-SEZ status, our goal is to accelerate efforts to establish one of Telangana's leading AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation campuses, creating more than 6,000 high-quality jobs for engineers, healthcare professionals, researchers and digital specialists," he added.
The company said the project would further strengthen Telangana's position in information technology, life sciences, healthcare innovation and Global Capability Centres (GCCs).
Located near the Miyapur growth corridor, the campus is expected to contribute to the region's technology ecosystem while creating employment opportunities for graduates and skilled professionals.
PULSUS also plans to collaborate with universities, research institutions, healthcare organisations, startups and technology companies to build an ecosystem focused on innovation, research and global service delivery.
According to the company, the AI healthcare hub will generate demand for software engineers, artificial intelligence specialists, healthcare data scientists, clinical research associates, bioinformatics experts and digital services professionals.
