Punjab CM Mann to join flood response cabinet meeting virtually from hospital bed

Chandigarh, Sep 7 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has scheduled a cabinet meeting for Monday at his official residence, despite remaining under medical observation at a private hospital in Mohali.
Mann, who is recovering from recent health concerns, will participate virtually via video conference, prioritising administrative duties from his bedside.
The session is expected to address critical responses to the state's devastating floods, which have impacted multiple districts and displaced thousands. "Serving the people remains my top priority," Mann stated, underscoring the government's commitment to swift rehabilitation and relief measures. Key decisions may include enhanced aid packages for affected farmers, infrastructure repairs, and preventive strategies against future water surges.
