Punjab CM reiterates zero tolerance policy against corruption

Chandigarh, May 23 (UNI) After the arrest of Jalandhar Central AAP MLA Raman Arora in an alleged corruption case, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann reiterated his government's zero tolerance policy against corruption. CM Mann said that no officer or politician, however affluent he or she may be, if found involved in corruption will be spared.

In a video message, the CM said that today’s action of the arrest of the ruling party MLA is once again a clear message that there is no pick and choose in this fight against corruption.

Shimla, Jan 19 (UNI) A social media post by Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Vikramaditya Singh on the use of new road construction technology has drawn strong public reactions, with citizens questioning construction quality and alleging irregularities in road projects across the state.
In his post, the minister stated that to curb the recurring problem of roads crumbling within days of metalling and tarring, he has adopted CSIR-certified Cement Grouted Bituminous Mix (CHBM) technology.
