Punjab: Doaba region gets 3rd medical college in 36 months

Chandigarh, Mar 23 (UNI) Ignored for several decades, Punjab's Doaba region on Sunday got its third medical college within 36 months as Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann laid the foundation stone of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Government Medical College set to come up at a cost of around Rs 300 crore.
This is the third medical college in Doaba region as the Chief Minister had earlier laid the foundation stones of Medical Colleges at Hoshiarpur and Kapurthala. So due to the visionary approach of the

MP approves Nauradehi as 3rd cheetah habitat at Virangana Durgavati reserve

Bhopal, Dec 9 (UNI) In a major initiative to expand the cheetah habitats in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP-ruled state government has accorded in‑principle approval to develop Virangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve, at Nauradehi in the Sagar district of the state, as the third cheetah habitat in Madhya Pradesh.
The approval was granted by the state cabinet at its meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, and held specially at Khajuraho on Tuesday.
