Punjab Police reunites missing minor sisters with family within 18 hours in Amritsar

Chandigarh, June 10 (UNI): In a swift operation, the Punjab Police traced two minor sisters who had gone missing from Amritsar and reunited them with their family within 18 hours, officials said on Wednesday.
The girls had reportedly gone missing from Baba Deep Singh Colony near Fatehgarh Churian Bypass under Sadar Police Station limits in Amritsar, prompting an immediate search operation by the police.
According to Sadar Police Station SHO Inspector Karandeep Singh, multiple teams were formed under the direction of senior officers soon after information about the disappearance was received. Police personnel, assisted by technical experts, examined call records and analysed CCTV footage to track the movement of the two sisters.
