Punjab woman who visited Pak for pilgrimage, marries Pakistani FB friend, converts to Islam

Chandigarh, Nov 15 (UNI) A woman from Kapurthala district who travelled to Pakistan as part of an SGPC-facilitated religious jatha for Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Parkash Purab, has converted to Islam and married a local youth there.
Investigation by several security agencies after the woman, Sarabjit kaur, failed to return, confirmed that she had embraced Islam after reaching Pakistan and married a local youth, who was her Facebook friend..
Her 'nikahnama', a copy of which Indian authorities obtained on Friday, shows she has taken the name Noor Hussain.
