Raghuvamsi Group launches ‘Arrobot ’, unveils six indigenous UAV defence products

Hyderabad, Dec 15 (UNI) Raghuvamsi Group on Tuesday unveiled ‘Arrotbot’, a new deep-technology defence brand, and unveiled six indigenous UAV and autonomous defence products developed entirely in India, marking the company’s entry into fully integrated defence platforms.
The new product line including RV Astra, RV Maya, RV Lakshya, RV Rudra, RV Indra, RV Yodha and RV Drishti, highlights India’s shift from beign a buyer of UAV and propulsion technologies to a natonal capable of designing and manufacturing future-ready unmanned systems at scale.
Talking to reporters on the occasion, Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group Founder and managhing director Vamsi Vikas, said it initially began with engine development and has now expanded into complete product manufacturing under the Arrotbot brand, which is a subsidiary of Raghuvamsi Group focused exclusively on defence and aerospace.
The launch is part of the Group’s Rs 300 crore investment plan announced in November 2024. Investments have already been made by May 2025, he said the Group is setting up a new manufacturing facility near Novatel in Hyderabad, which will include three separate units- one for precision manufacturing aimed at exports, another for assembly and integration of Arrobot products, and a third earmarked for future expansion.
He clarified that this upcoming facility is separate from the unit inaugurated recnelty.
All products displayed at the event are manufactured in-house across the Group’s existing factories, which include composite manufacturing, machining, and hardware integration units,he informed.
The Group recently conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for its sixth facility, , he said the larger facility is scheduled for inauguration in September 2026 and is expected to support growth for the next three years, while the current facility will cater to near-term expansion.
Raghuvamsi Group currently operates 10 manufacturing facilities—six in Hyderabad, three in the United Kingdom, and one in the United States, he said the overseas units were acquired last year.
The total investment in Arrobot is estimated at ₹100–150 crore, while the upcoming large facility is expected to require significantly higher capital expenditure, he said.
The Group has an order book exceeding ₹1,500 crore for the next three years and expected to cross ₹500 crore in revenue at the group level this financial year, he said.
Exports contribute about 50 per cent of the company’s revenue, with products currently being supplied to 10 countries, including the US, UK, Germany, Singapore, Poland and Canada, he informed.
He said it is working closely with the Indian government and defence users to supply products to friendly nations. It has signed four memorandums of understanding (MoUs) here tody with defence users, research laboratories and academic institutions to co-develop advanced systems.
Revenue expectations from these programmes have not been disclosed, citing confidentiality requirements from the Ministry of Defence.
Raghuvamsi Group employs over 1,000 people across its operations. Arrobot currently has around 150 employees, and the new facility is expected to create over 2,000 jobs, he said.
Production capacity will vary by product type, with the ability to manufacture more than 500 units per month, depending on order requirements, he added.
