Rajnath calls on Mongolian President, discuss ways to deepen ties and explore new avenues of cooperation

New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today called on the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh here, and both leaders exchanged views on efforts for diversification into new areas of cooperation, while also deepening existing programmes of shared interest.
The two leaders acknowledged that the two democracies have shared interest in peace and prosperity of the entire region and hoped that their meeting would further diversify the relationship into new areas of cooperation, a Defence Ministry statement said.
The Defence Minister and the Mongolian President highlighted that the two nations share a strategic partnership and defence is a key pillar of this cooperation. The bilateral defence engagements have expanded over a period of time to include wide-ranging contacts between the two countries including Joint Working Group meeting, military-to-military exchanges, high-level visits, capacity building, training programmes and bilateral exercises.

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) India's wholesale inflation in October has stayed negative for the fourth month with the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) falling at 1.21%. The negative rate of inflation in October, 2025 is primarily due to decrease in prices of food articles, crude petroleum & natural gas, electricity, mineral oils and manufacture of basic metals, data released by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry said.
