Ram Charan immortalised in wax, along with pet, at Madame Tussauds Museum

Mumbai, May 12 (UNI) In a landmark moment for Indian cinema, noted Telugu star Ram Charan has been enshrined in wax at the prestigious Madame Tussauds Museum in London, in a tribute made even more special by the inclusion of his beloved pet dog, Rhyme.
This rare recognition places Ram Charan in an elite category, becoming the only public figure since Queen Elizabeth II to have a wax figure unveiled in the company of their pet.
The unveiling ceremony, held in a private gathering in London, was graced by Charan's family and close friends, including his illustrious father, megastar Chiranjeevi and his mother, Surekha Konidela. Chiranjeevi, grew emotional while expressing his pride witnessing his son's journey and international recognition.
The statue is adorned in the black velvet bandhgala he famously wore at the 95th Academy Awards 2023, the same historic night when 'Natu Natu' earned its historic Oscar win for Best Original Song, a defining moment for India.
The statue not only symbolises his contribution to global cinema but also celebrates the unbreakable bond between him and his pet.
This installation is a celebration of Ram Charan's starry popularity and legacy and also shows how special a role pets play in our lives.
Admirers and visitors can have a glimpse of the statue in London till May 19, after which it will be relocated to Madame Tussauds Singapore for public display.
