RR roar back after three defeats, beat LSG in high-scoring thriller

Jaipur, May 19 (UNI) Vaibhav Sooryavanshi produced a breathtaking display of power-hitting as Rajasthan Royals pulled off a remarkable chase of 221 runs to defeat Lucknow Super Giants by 7 wickets in a high-scoring Indian Premier League 2026 clash at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium here on Tuesday.
It was Rajasthan's first win of the season in Jaipur, a result that could not have come at a better time for the side as they bounced back strongly from a string of three successive defeats and moved into a strong position in the race for a playoff berth.
In a match filled with explosive batting and dramatic twists, Sooryavanshi emerged as the undisputed star, smashing 93 off just 38 balls, including 7 boundaries and 10 towering sixes, to dismantle the LSG bowling attack and set up a commanding victory for the hosts.
