Ruckus in Chhattisgarh Assembly

Raipur, July 15 (UNI) The Chhattisgarh Assembly witnessed uproarious scenes during the Question Hour today -- the second day of the Monsoon Session -- as both the Treasury Benches and the Opposition indulged in heavy sloganeering over the Jal Jeevan Mission.

Raising the issue, erstwhile chief minister Bhupesh Baghel alleged that the Mission was unsuccessful. He sought to know the quantum of funds expended in 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25 and how many households received water.
