Rupee ends strong at 86.56 against USD

Mumbai, Mar 18 (UNI) The Rupee continued to remain firm on Tuesday too, gaining 24 paise to close at 86.56 against the US Dollar on selling of USD by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The domestic unit that rose 8 paise at 86.72 in opening session, rallied 24 paise to finish strong at 86.56 as compared to its last close.

The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 86.52 and 86.74 respectively, dealer added.
