Saraswati Puja festivities peak in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jan 21 (UNI) Preparations for Saraswati Puja, to be celebrated on January 23, have reached the final stage across Jharkhand, including the state capital Ranchi.
From villages to cities, there is immense enthusiasm among devotees for the worship of Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge and wisdom.
Artisans are working round the clock to give the idols a grand and graceful finish. Special attention is being paid to the attire, ornaments, veena, and facial expressions of the idols. With the festival approaching, the workload of craftsmen has doubled.

State to seek higher ethanol procurement quota from Centre: Jaiswal
