SC reserves verdict in Bhushan Power-JSW Steel resolution plan dispute

New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) The Supreme Court today reserved its verdict on the dispute concerning the liquidation of Bhushan Power and Steel Limited (BPSL) and the rejection of JSW Steel’s Rs 19,700 crore resolution plan.
A Bench comprising Chief Justice of India BR Gavai, and Justices Satish Chandra Sharma and Vinod Chandran reserved the matter after three days of hearings that began on August 7.
The proceedings involved arguments on the Committee of Creditors’ (CoC) role after plan approval, allocation of earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA), and alleged breaches of working capital commitments.
