SCR Women’s Basketball team wins gold at 48th All India Inter-Railway Championship

Hyderabad, Nov 12 (UNI) The South Central Railway (SCR) Women’s Basketball Team clinched the Gold Medal at the 48th All India Inter-Railway Basketball Championship, held from November 3 to 11, 2025, at Maligaon, Guwahati.
The triumphant team met Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway, at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad, on Wednesday. Congratulating the players, the General Manager praised their hard work, dedication, and exceptional sportsmanship, noting that their victory brought great pride to South Central Railway.
In a thrilling final match, the SCR team defeated Eastern Railway, which fielded several reputed players, with an impressive all-round performance. Ms. Pushpa of SCR was declared the Best Player of the Tournament for her outstanding contribution.

Delhi issues traffic advisory for Lionel Messi GOAT Tour

New Delhi, Dec 15 (UNI) The Delhi Traffic Police on Monday issued a traffic advisory in view of the “Lionel Messi G.O.A.T India Tour – Delhi Leg” event scheduled to be held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Ferozshah Kotla ground, from 1 pm to 4 pm on December 15.
According to the advisory, traffic movement is expected to remain slow and regulated in and around the stadium due to diversions, restrictions, and heavy spectator movement during the event hours.

Mumbai, Dec 15 (UNI) Bollywood star Ajay Devgn met Argentina football legend Lionel Messi on Sunday during the latter’s visit to Mumbai as part of his ‘GOAT India Tour’ 2025. Messi was accompanied by fellow Argentina internationals Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul.
Devgn greeted the football stars with a handshake before being welcomed at the venue by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
