Hyderabad, Jan 18 (UNI) Telangana Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka on Sunday expressed gratitude to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for completing development works at the Medaram Sammakka–Saralamma shrine and for sanctioning a major lift irrigation project to bring Godavari water to Mulugu constituency.
Speaking at a meeting held at the Medaram shrine, Seethakka said that as a “tribal daughter” she was thankful to the Chief Minister for shaping the history of Sammakka–Saralamma for generations to come and appreciated the cooperation extended by cabinet colleagues.
She said although the Godavari river flows for nearly 100 kilometres through Mulugu constituency, the region had not received even a drop of water so far.
