Senior journalist Rajiv Sabade selected for state level 'special Darpan' puraskar

Satara, Dec 7 (UNI) Senior journalist Rajiv Sabade (Pune), working at Ranade Institution (journalist training) of Pune University, has been selected for this year's state-level special 'Darpan' award on behalf of Maharashtra Patrakar Kalyan Nishi (Maharashtra Journalist Welfare Fund-MJWF), in memory of late editor of 'Darpan' Acharya Balshastri Jambhekar
In a press statement released at Phaltan of the district today, Ravindra Bedkihal, president of MJWF, said that Sabade, who is working for 34 years in field of journalism and in Pune Patrakar Pratisthan, has been selected for special 'Darpan' puraskar along with eight other journalists from different districts in the state. The nature of the award is cash purse and a shawl.
Other journalists who have been selected for 'Darpan' award are Shantnu Doifide, editor of daily Orajawani, Nanded, Basveshwar Chenge (Satara), editor of daily Gumfan, Jivandhar Chavan (Satara), journalist at daily Pudhari, Prakash Kulthe (Ahilyanagar), editor of daily Snehprakash, Vijay Palkar (Sindhudurg), journalist at daily Lokmat, Sriram Joshi (Ahilyanagar), working editor of daily Nagar Times, Dr Anil Kalbande, (Yavatmal), journalist at daily Sakal, and Ashish Kadam (Kolhapur), editor of weekly Vartman.
