Several Hindu shops, homes vandalised by mob in Bangladesh’s Sunamganj over offensive FB post

Dhaka, Dec 4 (UNI) In another targeted attack on the Hindu community in Bangladesh, several shops and houses belonging to Hindus were looted and vandalised by a mob in Sunamganj district's Dowarabazar area yesterday, allegedly following an "offensive" Facebook post made by a local Hindu youth.
The attacks took place between the hours of evening and midnight. The Bangladesh Army brought the situation under control by 2:30 am, according to Business Standard Bangladesh.
Stating that the person who made the post has been arrested, the Dowrabazar’s Police Station Officer-in-Charge Zahidul Haque said "We are trying to identify the attackers. If a complaint is filed, then we will take legal actions."
