Siddaramaiah not exonerated in MUDA case: BJP

Bengaluru, Feb 7 (UNI) State BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Friday said while the Karnataka High Court has refused to order a CBI probe into the MUDA case, it has not exonerated Chief Minister Siddaramaiah or his family.
Speaking to reporters, Vijayendra stated that Snehamayi Krishna, a social activist, had moved the Karnataka High Court, seeking a CBI investigation into the case.
"However, today, the High Court has refused the petition demanding a CBI probe. The High Court has not stated that Siddaramaiah or his family is not guilty. So, the allegations against Siddaramaiah's family still stand. However, only the issue of a CBI investigation has not been accepted by the Hon'ble High Court," he said.
Vijayendra further remarked that the final word on the matter was yet to be spoken. "Let's wait for the Lokayukta report, the Lokayukta's verdict, and then we will comment on this," he added.
The MUDA case has been at the centre of a political controversy, with the BJP repeatedly targeting the Congress government over alleged irregularities. UNI BDN SSP
