Siddaramaiah will be forced to step down soon: Ashoka

Belagavi, Oct 4 (UNI) Amid growing speculation of a leadership change in Karnataka, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly R Ashoka has said ेंChief Minister Siddaramaiah would be compelled to step down by November or December under an internal Congress agreement.
Addressing reporters here, Ashoka referred to a recent statement by a senior Congress leader hinting at a "political revolution" towards the end of this year, culminating in Siddaramaiah’s exit from the Chief Minister’s post.
Ashoka claimed the reported arrangement between Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to share the CM’s chair was "100 percent true." He added, "Neither Siddaramaiah is ready to step down nor Shivakumar willing to forgo his ambition. This tug-of-war has paralysed governance in the state."
