Siddharth to share screen with Freida Pinto in 'Unaccustomed Earth'

Mumbai, Sep 12 (UNI) Actor Siddharth, celebrated for his discerning and unconventional filmography, is set to make his international debut opposite Freida Pinto in upcoming drama series "Unaccustomed Earth".
The lavishly mounted drama, conceived by eminent creator John Wells alongside playwright Madhuri Shekhar, will be shepherded by Wells as well and directed by Ritesh Batra, whose cinematic sensibilities are known for delicate realism and emotional nuance in his works like "The Lunchbox" and "Photograph".
The series also counts Erica Saleh, Erin Jontow, and Nisha Ganatra among its executive producers, underscoring the formidable creative team driving the project.
"Unaccustomed Earth" is a gorgeous, emotional and culturally rich drama that tells the story of a close-knit Indian-American community grappling with love, desire and the search for identity.
Siddharth has always been known to choose bold and unconventional projects that reflect his sharp creative mind. Now, he is all set to enter the US and global market with his first international project distributed by Netflix.
