SILF and CII announce knowledge paper on legal frameworks

New Delhi, Feb 18 (UNI) The Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Committee on Legal Services successfully hosted the first-ever SILF-CII ESG & Climate Law Day on Tuesday (February 18), marking the beginning of an annual global initiative.
The virtual conference, titled “Climate Change: A Global Push is the Need of the Hour,” brought together leading legal experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore the role of law in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) compliance.
Attorney General of India R. Venkataramani, the keynote speaker, underscored the urgency of climate action and called for a universal legal framework to address environmental challenges.
