Singareni to participate in upcoming coal and other mineral mine auctions

Hyderabad, Sep 12 (UNI) Due to the inability to participate in auctions until now, State-owned Singareni lost two major blocks and revenue of about ₹60,000 crore.
Workers’ unions and the Singareni Board have been urging the Government to allow participation in auctions.
To safeguard the livelihood of 40,000 direct employees and 30,000 indirect contract workers, and to ensure the survival of the company, the state Government has decided to allow state-owned Singareni to participate in the upcoming auctions, announced Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister, Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu in a press conference here today.
