SIT probe in Aland vote chori case transparent: Shivakumar

Bengaluru, Dec 13 (UNI) Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said on Saturday that the investigation by the SIT in the Aland vote theft case was thorough and transparent.
"This is a fact, there is nothing hidden here. They have conducted a serious investigation," Shivakumar said. "We are just taking it up. Our MLAs also want to raise this issue on Tuesday in the assembly."
On Friday, the SIT filed a chargesheet in the Aland vote bank theft case.

Seven TN fishermen arrested by Lankan Navy, Stalin writes to EAM seeking their release

the Sri Lankan Navy along with their two boats for allegedly fishing in their territorial waters,
even as Chief Minister M K Stalin wrote to External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar urging
him to prevent further apprehensions and secure their release along with their fishing boats
by utilising appropriate diplomatic channels.
