SIT to probe complaints in 'Water Conservation Dept projects': Deputy CM Shinde

Nagpur, Dec 9 (UNI) Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today announced in the Maharashtra Legislative Council that the state government will set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe complaints regarding certain projects under the "Water Conservation Department".
The issue was raised during the question hour by Anil Parab, Shiv Sena( UBT), who pointed out alleged irregularities in two projects, particularly in Buldhana and Ratnagiri districts.
The opposition remained unsatisfied with the response provided by Minister Sanjay Rathod.
