Snowfall disrupts two Highways in Lahaul-Spiti; cyclonic circulation to impact weather in HP

Shimla, Oct 5(UNI) Fresh snowfall in the higher reaches of Lahaul-Spiti has disrupted traffic on two key highways, while most other routes remain open amid cloudy weather. According to the latest road status report issued by the Lahaul and Spiti Police at 12 noon on Sunday, the Koksar–Palchan road via Rohtang Pass (NH-003) and the Koksar–Lossar route via Kunzum Top have been closed due to light snowfall and prevailing weather conditions.
Traffic on the Darcha–Sarchu–Leh and Keylong–Atal Tunnel–Manali stretches remains open, though authorities have urged motorists to follow advisories due to cloudy skies and slippery patches at higher altitudes.
