Son of Soil Aman to head Jammu SAI Training Centre

Jammu, Aug 10 (UNI) Son of the Soil Aman Sharma has been appointed as head of Jammu based Sports Authority of India (SAI) Training Centre.
As per the information received here, High Performance Director of the Sports Authority of India, Aman Sharma has been given charge of the SAI Training Centre Jammu.
Aman has been Head Coach of the Indian National Men Basketball team, Faculty at the Academic Department of Basketball in NIS Bengaluru and Stadium Administrator in the SAI Head Quarter, New Delhi.
He is also the Chairman of the Talent Research wing of the Basketball Federation of India.
Overall topper of the 29th batch of the NIS Patiala, Sharma has served with the Army Boys Sports Company of the Jat Regiment for 10 years.
He has the distinction of being the Head Coach of Indian Youth, Junior and Men teams and is also the General Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Basketball Association.
Sharma has also made noticeable contributions to the print and electronic media in the state by contributing through his articles and special programmes.
