Sona Comstar ties up with Neura of Germany to make Robots and Humanoids

Mumbai, Oct 10 (UNI) Automotive parts maker Sona BLW Precision Forgings (Sona Comstar) officially announced on Friday through a stock exchange filing that it has inked a deal with Neura Robotics GmbH based in Germany to jointly develop advanced automation solutions, industrial robots and humanoids in India.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) serves as a basis for establishing shared objectives between Sona Comstar and NEURA Robotics, the company filing stated.
According to the regulatory filing by Sona Comstar, the two companies will also work together on the industrialisation of robots and humanoids in India as well as other global markets.
Sona Comstar, which is recognised internationally as a frontrunner in the mobility sector, manufactures electric powertrains, including motors, inverters, and gearboxes.
The formal agreement strengthens the partnership between Sona Comstar and Neura Robotics, fulfilling a vital function in delivering sophisticated automation solutions across diverse industries while developing products authentically Made in India, according to an official statement.
"As artificial intelligence, advanced perception, and control technologies progress rapidly alongside declining computing expenses, we're witnessing the dawn of a transformative period in intelligent automation. This technological evolution is driving extraordinary expansion in both industrial robotics and humanoid robots, revolutionising manufacturing and logistics sectors worldwide," according to an official statement.
