Telangana Govt plans global push to boost medical & wellness tourism

Hyderabad, Oct 9 (UNI) Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju on Friday directed officials to formulate a comprehensive strategic action plan to promote medical and wellness tourism in the state under the Telangana Tourism Policy 2025-30. At a review meeting with senior officials at the Dr B R Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, the Chief Secretary said Telangana had immense potential to emerge as a leading international medical tourism destination, particularly due to Hyderabad's world-class healthcare facilities, advanced medical technology and availability of highly qualified medical professionals.
