Special train to run between Jammu-Haridwar on Somvati Amavasya: Dr Jitendra thanks Railway Minister

Jammu, June 9 (UNI) Describing it as good news, union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh today thanked the union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for giving a nod to operate a special train between Jammu and Haridwar to cater to the rush on the occasion of Somvati Amavasya falling on June 14 and 15.
“Good news for Kathua, Hiranagar and Jammu. Thanks to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for accepting the demand to run a special train between Jammu and Haridwar on the occasion of Amavasya,” union minister Dr Singh said in a post on X.
He further wrote, “In the last 12 years under PM Narendra Modi, there has not been a single demand from the region that has gone unconceded.”
