Speeding container kills woman doc on Mumbai-Goa Highway

Mumbai, Aug 13 (UNI) A 32-year-old woman doctor, Dr. Priyanka Ahir, died on the spot when a speeding container truck collided with her WagonR car on the Mumbai-Goa highway near Tempale in Raigad district, police said today.
The truck, headed toward Mahad, hit the car from behind with such force that it flipped and became trapped under the container's rear wheels yesterday.
Another occupant in the vehicle sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Local residents assisted emergency teams in pulling the injured person from the wreckage.

Nashik: Decomposed body of woman found in suitcase and sack; murder causes stir

Nashik, Jun 16 (UNI) While the Tapovan area is bustling with development activity ahead of the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela, a shocking incident came to light on Tuesday morning. Panic gripped the area after a badly decomposed body—brutally stuffed into a suitcase and a sack—was discovered near the 'Krishi Go Seva Trust' cowshed in the Kevdi Ban locality.
