Stalin flays BJP-led government for trying to rechristen, restructure MGNREGS scheme and punish TN with reduced allocation

Chennai, Dec 15 (UNI) Flaying the BJP-led Government at the Centre for trying to rechristen and restructure the MGNREGS scheme with a Sanskrit nomenclature that could be difficult to pronounce, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin today it was an attempt to dismantle, destroy the scheme and punish the State with reduced fund allocation for completely eradicating poverty.
He said said like how the people pushed the union government to backoff on the three Farm Laws and Caste Census, they will do so again for its attempt to destroy the scheme named after Mahatma Gandhi out of vengeance and urged it to immediately backoff this
move.
