State received 100 additional MBBS seats for 2025–26 in two medical colleges

Ranchi, Oct 17 ( UNI ) Jharkhand has received approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC) for 100 additional MBBS seats across two medical colleges one government and one private starting with the 2025–26 academic session.
This increase follows the release of the revised national MBBS seat matrix.
Specifically, MGM Medical College, Jamshedpur, a government institution, has seen its intake rise by 50 seats, increasing its total to 150. Similarly, Manipal Tata Medical College, Jamshedpur (private), was also granted 50 new seats, bringing its total capacity up to 200. These new seats will be factored into the NEET-UG 2025 counseling process.
