Supreme Court nears full strength as five judges take oath

New Delhi, Jun 2 (UNI) Five newly appointed judges of the Supreme Court were sworn in on Tuesday, bringing the apex court closer to its sanctioned strength of 38 judges.
Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant administered the oath of office to Justices Sheel Nagu, Shree Chandrashekhar, Sanjeev Sachdeva, and Arun Palli, along with Senior Advocate V Mohana, at a ceremony held in the Supreme Court.
Their appointments were notified by the Centre a day earlier, following recommendations made by the Supreme Court Collegium during its meetings on May 22 and May 27.
