Sussanne Khan mourns loss of mother Zarine Khan: “You took all our hearts with you”

New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) Renowned interior designer Sussanne Khan is mourning the loss of her mother, Zarine Khan, a former actress known for her grace and warmth.
A day after her mother’s demise, Sussanne took to Instagram to share an emotional note, remembering Zarine as her “bestest friend, God, and life.”
In her heartfelt message, she reflected on her mother’s unwavering love and the lessons she left behind.
“My Bestestttttt Friend, My God, My Life... Our Beautiful Mummy... you are always going to be our guiding light,” Sussanne wrote.
She further added, “You taught us all to live life our own way—with grace and love. We love you beyond love, beyond life... Until we meet again, you teach the angels in heaven how to love... they are so lucky to have you.”
Alongside her message, Sussanne shared a touching video of herself with her mother, capturing moments of affection and togetherness between the two.
Zarine Khan is survived by her husband, veteran actor Sanjay Khan, and their four children, Sussanne, Simone, Farah Ali Khan, and Zayed Khan.
Sussanne’s sister, Farah Ali Khan, also paid a moving tribute to their late mother on Instagram, describing her as her “soul mate” and a woman whose warmth touched countless lives.
“To my mother, my soul mate, the woman who touched many lives with her love, warmth, and shine, you will be missed because no one can ever be like you,” Farah wrote.
“Your legacy will continue to inspire many, and I promise to walk in your footsteps and keep our family bonded together forever. Rest in peace, my darling Mamma,” she added.
Zarine passed away on November 7 at the age of 81.
Zarine and Sanjay Khan celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in April this year. Remembered fondly for her elegance, generosity, and devotion to family, Zarine Khan leaves behind a legacy of love that continues to inspire those who knew her.
