Suthar's six-wicket debut haul puts India in command against AFG

Mullanpur, June 8 (UNI) Debutant left-arm spinner Manav Suthar delivered a memorable six-wicket haul on Test debut as India tightened their grip on the one-off Test against Afghanistan, dismissing the visitors for 152 before forcing them to follow on during an eventful third day.
Having declared their first innings at 564 for eight, India bundled out Afghanistan for 152 in 58.4 overs and enforced the follow-on. At lunch, Afghanistan were 18 without loss in four overs in their second innings, still trailing by 394 runs.
Resuming at 113 for five, Afghanistan relied heavily on Rahmat Shah, who compiled a determined 60 off 135 balls with nine fours and a six. The experienced batsman reached his sixth Test half-century and briefly steadied the innings alongside Sharafuddin Ashraf.
