SW monsoon active over east Uttar Pradesh

Pune, Aug 10 (UNI) The Southwest Monsoon (SW) has been active over east Uttar Pradesh.
It has been subdued over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Saurashtra and Kutch, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Konkan and Goa and coastal Karnataka and at many places in Assam and Meghalaya, Assam and Meghalaya, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, east Rajasthan, Gujarat Region and Lakshadweep and at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, north interior Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
