Agartala, May 18 (UNI) The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Myanmar-based drug kingpin Thancintuang in Delhi. Officials said the arrest dealt a significant blow to an extensive international drug syndicate operating across India’s northeast and neighbouring countries.
New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) In a major crackdown on international narcotics trafficking, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized a massive Rs182 crore consignment of Captagon tablets under ‘Operation RAGEPILL’, marking India’s first-ever seizure of the notorious synthetic stimulant often referred to globally as the “Jihadi Drug.” Officials confirmed that the drug consignment was allegedly destined for the Middle East, while one foreign national has also been arrested in connection with the case.
