Take self-employment schemes to every household: Jaryal at MSME workshop in Palampur

Palampur, June 9 (UNI) The Department of Industries organised a one-day awareness workshop under the MSME Ministry’s RAMP Programme at Palampur to promote digital literacy, brand building and government procurement opportunities among MSMEs and self-help groups.
Addressing the participants, District Industries Centre General Manager Om Prakash Jaryal urged entrepreneurs to spread awareness about self-employment schemes such as PMEGP, Mudra, Stand-Up India and the Credit Guarantee Scheme.
He said local products could achieve national recognition through digital marketing, branding and registration on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal.
