Tehran targets Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan after new US strikes

Washington/Tehran, June 11 (UNI) US and Iranian forces exchanged fresh strikes across the Middle East for a second consecutive day on Thursday, dramatically escalating tensions and fuelling fears of a wider regional conflict, as US President Donald Trump warned Tehran would "pay the price" for delaying negotiations and suggested it still had a chance to strike a deal and "survive".
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said it had completed a wave of what it described as "self-defence strikes" targeting military, surveillance and radar sites in southern Iran.
The attacks came hours after US President Donald Trump vowed that American forces would hit Iran "hard" and accused Tehran of taking "too long to make a deal" to permanently end the conflict.
