Telangana Arekatika Sangh seeks recognition and support from BC Commission

Hyderabad, Jan 20 (UNI) Representatives of the Telangana State Arekatika (Katik) Sangh met the BC Commission Chairman G Niranjan and members on Monday to voice their concerns and seek support for their community.

During the meeting, they emphasised the importance of retaining their caste name, "Arekatika," and expressed grievances regarding the auctioning of Kamelas to non-Arekatikas, which they claimed has led to significant injustice within the community.
