Telangana: BRS slams 'Congress Thalli', announces statewide protests

Hyderabad, Dec 9 (UNI) The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has strongly criticised the Congress government over unveiling of statue on Monday at the Telangana Secretariat, calling it a "Congress Thalli".
It accused the Congress government of misrepresenting Telangana’s cultural heritage for political purposes.
BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) expressed disapproval of the statue's redesign, particularly the exclusion of traditional symbols like Bathukamma and the incorporation of the Congress party's hand symbol.
