Hyderabad, Jan 26 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy extended his congratulations to the eminent personalities from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh who were selected for the prestigious Padma Awards.
In a statement here late night on Saturday said that the Chief Minister expressed his delight over the Padma Vibhushan being awarded to Dr Nageshwar Reddy for his distinguished services in the field of medicine.
He also lauded Nandamuri Balakrishna, recognised with the Padma Bhushan for his remarkable contributions to cinema, and Manda Krishna Madiga, who was honoured in the public affairs category.
Additionally, the Chief Minister acknowledged the recipients of the Padma Shri awards, including K.L. Krishna, Madugula Nagaphani Sharma, the late Miryala Apparao, and Raghavendracharya Panchamukhi for their contributions to arts, literature, and education.
He noted that their hard work and dedication in their respective fields earned them the country’s highest civilian honors, and their achievements serve as a source of pride for the region.
