Telangana CM directs officials to coordinate with Saudi Embassy following fatal bus accident

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has expressed deep shock over reports that several people from the state have died in the tragic bus accident in Saudi Arabia. He has directed the Chief Secretary and the DGP to coordinate with the Saudi Embassy to provide assistance to the bereaved families.
The accident occurred while a group of Indian pilgrims were travelling from Mecca to Medina. Initial media reports suggested that some of the victims were from Hyderabad, prompting the Chief Minister to seek immediate clarity.
Acting on his instructions, Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao spoke with the Resident Commissioner in New Delhi and officials of the union Ministry of External Affairs to gather detailed information about the deceased and ensure prompt support for their families.
