Telangana DGP congratulates state police athletes for national-level medal haul

Hyderabad, June 5 (UNI) Telangana Director General of Police C V Anand on Friday congratulated Telangana Police athletes for winning one silver and two bronze medals at the 3rd All India Police Weightlifting Cluster Championship 2026-27 held at Madhuban, Haryana.
The championship, conducted from May 23 to 27, featured competitions in weightlifting, powerlifting and yoga.
WPC S. Renuka of CCS, Malkajgiri Commissionerate won a silver medal in the Women’s Powerlifting ( 84 kg category) by lifting a total of 367.5 kg, while ARPC M. Vamsi from Bhadradri Kothagudem secured a bronze medal in the Men’s Powerlifting 59 kg category.
