Telangana Governor extends greetings on 76th Republic Day

Hyderabad, Jan 25 (UNI) Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, celebrated on Sunday.

In his message, the Governor said: “Heartfelt greetings on this joyous 76th Republic Day! Today, as we reflect on the adoption of our Constitution in 1950, I express my deepest gratitude for the invaluable rights and duties it has bestowed upon us over the past 75 years.

Chennai, Feb 9 (UNI) The four-month pregnant woman passenger, who was pushed out off a running Express train after resisting a sexual assault bid by a drunkard inside the Ladies compartment has suffered a miscarriage, even as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin expressed deep shock over the incident and announced a solatium of Rs three lakhs to her and that her full medical expenses would be borne by the State government.
